Call for ART

YMOW is seeking art created by senior artists. Submitted art can be any medium, but should be either free-standing or ready for hanging. The art can speak to the artist's life, interests, or experiences as a senior in Washtenaw County. Artists may elect to donate all proceeds from their work to YMOW, or to participate in the show but list their work as, "Not for Sale." and have the piece returned to them after the event. All art can be submitted through this submission form. Submissions must be received by April 10th.

Submissions Need

  1. A short description of the work which includes medium, size, and a short 2-3 sentence narrative about the piece's subject.
  2. A stated value for the work, and the minimum opening bid the artist is willing to accept.
  3. An Artist Statement: a short written description of your artwork that gives deeper insight into your work through your personal history, material choices, and themes you address. It helps viewers understand what is most important to you and galleries explain your work to potential buyers.
  4. An image of the art to upload
